![]() So Timeless wins in terms of smell but I’m happy both are’t fragranced. ![]() No essential oils or fragrance in either. BUT I’m happy it doesn’t have fragrance/ essential oils! The timeless serum smells like Citrus which makes sense since vitamin C is in there. The closest comparison is like smearing coffee on your face. I really really don’t like it, and the smell doesn’t go away. Smell: Skinceuticals smells very strongly of Ferulic acid – I don’t like the smell of it at all. As said before, I personally use the Skinceuticals in the PM because it balls up on me in the AM. Both are easy to dispense product BUT I would say Timeless is a bit easier BECAUSE the dropper has a pointed tip whereas Skinceuticals is flat/rounded – I feel like more product accidentally drips out.ĪM or PM use?: Both apparently can be used in the AM and PM, both companies have told me. Packaging: Both are pretty much the same i.e. The Skinceuticals just doesn’t agree texture-wise with me. It goes straight into the skin just like my Argireline solution, and disappears. ![]() Therefore I have to use it in the PM because I can’t wear it in the AM as I feel like it compromises my sunblock application. It also balls up on my skin, UNDER MY SPF (read more about this ON MY DETAILED REVIEW HERE). This serum makes me feel like my skin slightly can’t breathe. It’s the drying down/absorbing bit that is an issue for me: Skinceuticals sits on top of my skin. It makes the experience either pleasant or a misery for me. I find texture extremely important because 1. Texture: Now this is where either serum is a massive hit or miss for me. Timeless does irritate the skin more IF YOU HAVE AN OPEN WOUND OR CUT/ Active acne! compared to the Skinceuticals!! Skinceuticals = 2.0-3.5 (is what Skinceuticals told me – BUT then I’ve read in other places that it’s 2.5 OR 3.5 so I guess it ranges?) Personally, I’ve found the Timeless stings more at 2.4 – (but it only stings if one has a cut/open wound)Īpparently Skinceuticals has a higher pH to reduce irritation. PH: (a low pH makes the ascorbic acid an effective antioxidant). So the Timeless is still cost savvy purchasing x2 in 6 months.įYI: I have absolutely no problem with Parabens HOWEVER they are both the same volume, so you could easily run out of the skinceuticals in 3 months and still need to repurchase. This does mean that you would need to purchase Timeless x2 in 6 months and Skinceuticals only once. SO this means Skinceuticals lasts for 6 months whereas Timeless lasts 3. Also – the ingredients list is different, Timeless do not use Parabens or Sulfates to preserve their serum ( which apparently pushes up the price?). I must say – I’m guessing that Skinceuticals spend more on advertising and clinical trials to prove the efficacy of their product (but I’m not sure), so this could mean why their products are more expensive. ![]() Price: Yes, skinceuticals is expensive at £135- I go into my opinion and reasoning for this on my review post HERE Timeless is more affordable at £22.49 at timeless-UK *So this post is purely comparing the two – if you want more detail on each product INDIVIDUALLY – please check those posts!!* NOTE: I have posted a FULL REVIEW for each of these products – so if you would like more detail TIMLESS REVIEW or SKINCEUTICALS REVIEW

They are all standalones basically but it would've just felt weird reading this one before Part of Your World. Now I know that this is a series but these books have nothing to do with the other. There was one book before Mirror, Mirror that I had to dive into before I could even open it. I was honestly so surprised when I saw that I was approved for this ARC. OKAY, so I've definitely had my ups and freaking downs with this Twisted Tales series. I received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the publisher, Disney-Hyperion, for providing me a copy to read and review. This is the second book I have read in the Twisted Tales series and you better believe I am going to keep reading them as long as they are putting them out! Overall, I would recommend this to any Disney fan, especially people who like to get the villain's perspective. I also feel like this reads more on the younger end of the YA-spectrum, maybe even verging on Middle Grade, so just know that going in. ![]() I would have liked a bit more depth to the characters, Snow and the Evil Queen both, but I do think they had enough nuance to keep you engaged. That was what I was hoping for when I picked this up and I got it. There is nothing super ground-breaking about this, but I think if you go into it looking for a fun, quick read, you can have a heck of an enjoyable time with Mirror, Mirror. While it pays fairly strict homage to the original story, you still feel compelled to keep turning the pages! It was just enough to give it a new and exciting feel. There are multiple small twists to the Disney version most of us are familiar with. Jen Calonita's retelling is perfect for Snow White fans, no matter whose side you're on, as it is told in alternating perspectives between Snow and the Evil Queen. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for this classic story, but let's be honest, we all know which character I relate to the most. I hope I hear from you!Īhhhh, Snow White. I promise to give book updates here, and on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or my website. ![]() Ever wonder what it would be like if your parents got a job with someone like Taylpr Swift? My other middle grade series, VIP, follows super fan Mackenzie Lowell as she tours with her favorite band, Perfect Storm. I've been writing middle grade too and am having so much fun with my series Fairy Tale Reform School! The fourth book in this series about a school run by former villains is called Tricked and will be out March 2018. I have also written the stand-alone novels Sleepaway Girls, it's companion book, Summer State of Mind and the Belles series. My first series was "Secrets of My Hollywood Life" and it followed a teen star named Kaitlin Burke who struggled with the fame game. I love writing novels for teens (and for savvy grown ups who know that YA rocks at any age). I wanted to be an author for young readers, which I am! I wanted a mansion, limo, lake house, pool and speed boat (still sounds quite nice). ![]() Buy all the Cabbage Patch Kids in the world and give them away for free (because apparently that was how I rolled). I've been writing ever since I can remember, but it was fourth grade when I put my "three wishes" for a genie down on paper. I'm Jen Calonita, a MG and YA author who loves what I do because it lets me connect with all of you (and no, I wasn't intending for that to rhyme!). ![]() Even though I've been playing it for years, TYO's series continues to stun me with its incredible depth and variety. ![]() ![]() This year's effort once again focuses on improving AI, adding and refining control and technique, and bettering all the little things, from free kicks and throw-ins to penalty kicks. Whether you're a Brit in Bristol watching league play or a Yank in New York viewing Major League Soccer, Konami has masterfully incorporated realism and skill into its series like none other. Core Gameplay The Winning Eleven series' consistent accomplishment over the years has been the developer's ability to pay attention to the nature of the sport and deliver the game in its purest form. This year, Winning Eleven 8 offers even deeper core gameplay, while broadening in scope, giving long-time fans the names, official leagues, the feature sets, and moves they've been clamoring for. Alongside the top-notch gameplay highlighted in this year's superb Master League is a slew of improvements - from the acquisition of official big-league licenses to a more operational front-end, to on-screen referees to the improved Training mode. The endless layers of tactical play, smart AI and the unbeatable one-on-one matches outweighed the clunky menu systems and lack of official teams or players. Developer Konami TYO was always old-fashioned in presentation, yet the strength of its gameplay and graphics always won out. This year proves to be a different one for Konami. ![]() So once you are doing peeling your carrots, you can shred them to bits for use in salads and the like. AwsumPlanet Dual Julienne Peeler and Vegetable Peeler – Easiest on Your Hands Most of the time there are more than just two teams to pick from – we have yellow and green Portals in Habbo as well. The PINK circle shows where Habbos have to go to pick which team they want to be.The GREEN area is the enclosed playing area – every single one of those tiles is a Banzai Arena Tile!.The RED rectangle is where Habbos will enter your game room. Here’s an explanation of the room layout: So, using the screenshot as a reference, you need to build the game room! Before you start, make sure you’ve got all the furni we outlined above ready. At least two different coloured Portals (in the below screenshot you can see blue and pink ones).īelow, you can see a screenshot of a (very) simple Battle Banzai setup.100 x Banzai Arena Tiles (you can find these easily by searching for them in the Catalogue). Then, go to the Habbo Catalogue and buy the following: A Counter and two Wired furni (the Wired furni can be stacked upon eachother).Enough space for at least a 100-tile playing area, with space for a single layer of barriers and space outside. To run the game, you need to be able to fit in the following: We’ll go into detail about how to build the game room and then how to host it. If it sounds confusing now, just keep reading. ![]() To get a tile to turn your colour, you must stand on it with your Habbo and their Banzai Bouncer three times or more. The aim of the game is to change the colour of as many Banzai Arena Tiles as possible according to the team that you are on (in this blog, we’ll just be using pink and blue). ![]() It’s a hugely popular game as it allows Habbos to either create a team and play cooperatively, or just play against their friend! The maximum number of players is 20, and the minimum is two. ![]() The original game these rooms are based on is called ‘Battle Banzai’. While walking around in Habbo, you might have noticed a load of rooms with names like ‘Banzai’ or ‘Banzai Booster’. ![]() It’s especially difficult to put value on all the games that might not quite make every top-ten list, but are still crucial to rounding out the prolific feeling of an exceptional year. To render any kind of verdict, these considerations and others must necessarily be boiled down into a general gut feeling, like a baseball scout weighing player stats against experience and instinct. Some have deep benches but few standouts. What does it mean for it to be the best year in video games? Is it just about having the most best games? The most long-lasting and important ones? The most eclectic mix of outstanding games across multiple genres? Some years are full of great games that don’t stand the test of time. It’s more art than science, with history, personal taste, and general vibes all swirling around in a vat until the subjective winners bubble up to the surface. How do you even begin to compare one year’s release slate against another? There’s no objective method, obviously. Still, my god, 2007: Super Mario Galaxy, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, BioShock, Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect, Uncharted, Portal, Team Fortress 2, Crysis, and STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. People’s picks will vary wildly based as much on legacy as anything else. The farther back in time these comparisons go, the bigger a role played by nostalgia and rose-colored glasses. Of these, I’d argue the frontrunners have to be 2007, 2004, 1998, and 2001, in that order. Start going farther back and the comparisons get much dicier. Read More: What Was Your Best-Ever Year For Gaming? There might not be entirely new genres that will recalibrate the market for years to come, but I would take this year’s top 10 over 2013’s any day. It also delivered Grand Theft Auto V, The Last of Us, Super Mario 3D World, Crusader Kings II, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Gone Home, The Stanley Parable, Metro: Last Light, and a bunch more. That was arguably the next high-water mark prior to 2017. It reminds me of when Dota 2 and League of Legends both came out in 2013. It’s not every year that two games go head-to-head in a new genre that redefines industry trends moving forward. ![]() Nintendo, meanwhile, jump-started its new Switch hardware with two of the best games it’s ever made, an incredible coup for a new console launch. Sony’s first-party machine was beginning to fire on all cylinders and developers were delivering on the big “next-gen” games they’d been promising. That was the midway point for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One-and it showed. The list goes on: Horizon Zero Dawn, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Destiny 2, Resident Evil 7, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, and Nier Automata. We got Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and Uncharted: Lost Legacy, Divinity Original Sin 2 and Persona 5, Cuphead and Pyre, Hollow Knight and Dead Cells, Night in the Woods and What Remains of Edith Finch, Fortnite and PUBG. We got The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. The last time the deck felt this stacked was 2017. These Are The Cars You Would Use To Curse Your Worst Enemy Wow! Wonder, David Lynchian survival horror sequel Alan Wake 2 is finally out. Just a week after Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. ![]() Baldur’s Gate 3 came out of nowhere and was all anyone could talk about for an entire month. It was, in fact, a certified banger that turned the Zelda formula upside down once again. Some worried The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom would turn out to be more of the same. Nine months later, it’s hard to deny: 2023 feels like one of the best years for game releases in a long time. A day after that, Dead Space arrived, a faithful but impressive remake of a 2008 classic. A day later, Hitman World of Assassination appeared, deploying clever roguelike mechanics to reinvent the best stealth game of 2021. Beautiful, vibrant, playful, the rhythm action platformer quickly won players over. When Hi-Fi Rush shadow-dropped on January 25, it was a shockingly pleasant surprise. Spider-Man, Alan Wake, and Zelda debate the best year in games. Note that it takes a relatively long time to reload its guns, so be sure to make every shot count.Īn unusual feature of BTR-ZD is having a pair of hull machine guns (not modelled in X-ray view) although being practically useless any against armoured targets, they could still be used to gun down exposed crews in rare cases.ĭue to being made out of ABT-101 aluminium alloy and the thickest area of the armour being 32 mm at the front of the vehicle, a head on engagement with a ground vehicle is not recommended, especially against vehicles with high-calibre machine guns or autocannons. The BTR-ZD straps a ZU-23-2 mount onto the top of the chassis, which has high rate of fire and sufficient penetration to tear down most targets it might see on their sides. The ZU-23 is perhaps one of the most famous AA autocannon in service, due to the lack of anti-air capabilities of VDV troops in the early stages of being air-dropped. Suspension wheels are 10 mm thick, tracks are 15 mm thick. ![]() The spacing of the crew members is disadvantageous as they are all close together and 1 good shot might be able to take them all out. If the vehicle is shot from the side by an AP round it likely won't do much damage and won't hit the ammo but an HE round will almost certainly take out at least 2 crew members. The speed of the vehicle acts as a substitute to the low armour. With the maximum thickness of the armour being 32 mm on the front and two crew members completely exposed, almost anything can take you out. The BTR-D APC chassis was derived from BMD-1, an airborne IFV of the VDV, designed to be paradropped by transporter aircraft thus one of its requirements was being light, the extensive use of ABT-101 aluminium alloy ensured its structural integrity while providing a bare minimum of protection for the crew. It is best to wait until enemies get close before engaging them, as the BTR-ZD's autocannons are most effective at short range. Based on the BTR-D chassis derived from VDV's BMD-1, the BTR-ZD offers devastating twin 23 mm autocannons with good accuracy and rate of fire, as well as being mobile while having the bare minimal survivability for the crew. The BTR-ZD was introduced in Update "Danger Zone". Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the BTR-ZD continued to be used by the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV). These variants also had armored plating around the gun crew to protect them from shrapnel and rifle-caliber fire. A little while later, the idea was approved by the manufacturers, and the 23mm autocannon began to be pre-installed on factory-built BTR-ZDs. As it was intended, it was originally only capable of carrying Strela and Igla MANPADS, but later on the airborne troops came up with the idea of attaching a ZU-23 twin-barrel autocannon on the modified BTR-D chassis. ![]() ![]() It was developed in the late 1970s and entered service in 1984. The BTR-ZD was a Soviet anti-aircraft vehicle designed with the intent of providing airborne troops with a mobile vehicle with the ability to transport MANPADS. ![]() The warriors can also use Stickman special skills to destroy the monster faster like stickman gun, stickman fighting,… in each Hero. ⚔️⚔️⚔️Unique skill system for each Character ins this Stickman Game Skills help Stickman increase their power many times and wipe out the enemies at a glance in each Stick War. Often it is best to “burst out” your available options as quickly as you can, establish a superior position on points, then work to end the game as quickly as you can. As a beginning player, it’s easy to become distracted by the multitude of options and animals at your disposal. It all boils down to gaining appeal points and conservation points faster than anyone else. Using a stage five action followed up by a boosted stage five action can create powerful surges in your points and resources. They are a great way to boost actions immediately instead of having to wait for multiple turns for your desired action to move up to stage five. This will help you score points quickly and effectively. Between your starting hand, the base conservation projects, and the display, try to focus on drawing and playing cards that all work together and have some unifying synergy. Focus on as much early-game synergy as possible.Often this boils down to holding onto that Eurasian Brown Bear (which requires another bear tag to be in play), hoping beyond hope that you see, can draw, then play another bear tag. One trap that new players can fall into is waiting to draw into certain cards with certain icons. Don’t focus too heavily on future cards that may never show up.Early game conservation points can upgrade your draw cards action, thereby letting you access higher reputation rewards gaining even more bonuses. You will probably end up scoring more conservation points overall by supporting the bottom tier of several projects. It tends to be more difficult to support the top tier of a conservation project, especially across multiple projects. It can be much more efficient and effective to focus on supporting the bottom tier of multiple Conservation Projects.Every used cube from your “income space” provides those resources during each coffee break! This makes early-game support of conservation projects fairly important by increasing the power of coffee breaks. If possible, try to be as aggressive as you can be with scoring conservation points in the early game. Being the first one to the bonus spaces is always better than being second or third, as bonuses are eliminated once selected by someone (excluding the five money). Early game conservation points are weighted heavily by providing a lot of bonuses in the first 10 points.Furthermore, all it takes is someone pushing for a coffee break to decimate a large hand. Especially before you can increase your hand size from three to five. Drawing a large volume of cards takes time, and you probably won’t be able to play everything you want to chase. ![]() This feature is a major boost to action efficiency. For example, a five-power Associate Action will let you place one worker on Power Two and Power Three. If your Association Action is upgraded to Side Two, you can split the power between two different worker placements. The note below the partner zoo space on your zoo map serves as a reminder.” This is easy to forget when you are new to the game, and I have made this mistake several times. Don’t forget about kiosk spacing requirements! of the Ark Nova Rule Book states: “A kiosk must always be at least three spaces from every other kiosk on your zoo map, meaning there must always be at least two spaces between two kiosks. ![]() This major effect can be easily overlooked when learning the game. They also grant a -3 cost reduction for EACH icon on your animal card.

PS: This is generic rebuild procedure, you can do this for all hoses in most vehicles EXCEPT the hose from the PS Pump -> Steering Rack, as this particular hose carries some 1000+ psi of pressure. This technique works when you deal with system with pressure less than 200 psi, which is the case here. Do the final tightening of the clamps in the car so the orientation of the fitting is correct. Use 2 clamps on each end and loosely attach them first, make sure you can rotate the hose with respect to the barb fitting for now. Install new trans cooler hose with appropriate I.D. The key thing: don't cut all the way through the crimp, when it is getting to 90% finish, use a pair of cutting pliers to cut it. Wear goggles and grind the metal crimp on the line, taking care not to damage the barb fitting and the round metal line. Get an angle grinder at hardware store for $20. The whole thing should cost less than $10 (the cut-off dremel wheel or angle grinder is about $20 tool at hardware store):ĭIY using new hose and clamps. For those who want to rebuild the hose yourself, here is the tip using cut-off wheel, new hose and clamp. Just find appropriate hose with the correct I.D. Then use new hoses (available for $1/foot at local autoparts store). All you need is a Dremel tool to cut the old crimp off. 1- If you have budget: then use new OEM hoses.Ģ- If the budget is tight, then rebuild it. |
